like teaspoon of mayonnaise
on a foot long sub
like ninety-eight cents
in a one dollar store
I am
I feel like
I am always spread
too thin
But what can I do
sleep a little less
work a little longer
stretch the dough a little thinner
so I say
I'm good
Just fine,
thank you for asking
lying here in bed
next to you
under our blanket
making love
under our balnket
we are not
stretched too thin
for that
