Write Saturdays and Retreats PDF Print E-mail

Write Saturdays are full-day (6 hour) writing workshops. Write Saturdays are led according to the same guidelines as Wallkill Valley Writers Weekly Workshop series. The full day provides writers extended writing and response time.

Extended time allows writers to explore subject matter and content deeply, to move beyond first thoughts. We strive to find within ourselves the dreaming place described by Pat Schneider, Writing Alone and with Others, where the unconsious is engaged and writing is without effort.

Write Saturdays, like all wVw workshops, invite writers at all levels of experience.  In wVw workshop, we explore memory and imagination, create fresh and surprising material, and grow and value our unique voices and stories.

Write Saturdays do not include manuscript critiques.
